چکیده
Objective: The present study aims to evaluate the color stability and degree of conversion amine-free dual cured resin cement compared light amine-containing cements used with two different translucencies thin esthetic restorations. Material Methods: A total 120 specimens were prepared for testing (n=60). divided into three main groups according type. Group 1: cured, 2: 3: cured. Each group was further subdivided ceramic translucency subgroups: high low translucency. Color assessed by a spectrophotometer before after thermal aging. For assessment (n=60), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy at time intervals. Statistical analysis performed using multi-factorial ANOVA, followed one-way ANOVA Bonferroni correction. Results: Amine-containing showed significantly higher Eab E00 in both (4.5±0.3, 3.5±0.3 respectively 3.8±0.4, 3.0±0.3 translucency) than other tested (p<0.001). highest (DC) shown 2 weeks (86.27±0.74). Conclusion: Aminefree can be an alternative one cementation veneers since it comparable conversion. KEYWORDSResin cement; Color; Polymerization; Light curing dental resins; Lithium disilicate.

The Effect of Lithium Disilicate Ceramic Thickness and Translucency on Shear Bond Strength of Light-cured Resin Cement
Introduction: To achieve acceptable clinical performance, a ceramic veneer must be bonded to enamel by well-polymerized resin cement. Among different factors, thickness and translucency of the ceramic may affect the resin cement polymerization. Thus, the current study evaluated the effect of the thickness and translucency of lithium disilicate ceramic on light-cured resin cement bond strength t...

Background and Aim: Color match between prosthetic restorations and natural teeth is challenging in dentistry. The aim of the current study was to assess the effect of accelerated aging on color stability of two silica-based ceramics with leucite and lithium disilicate crystalline phases after glazing and polishing surface treatments. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, 30 disc-...
متن کاملFracture Resistance of Lithium Disilicate Ceramics Bonded to Enamel or Dentin Using Different Resin Cement Types and Film Thicknesses.
PURPOSE To investigate the influence of cement film thickness, cement type, and substrate (enamel or dentin) on ceramic fracture resistance. MATERIALS AND METHODS One hundred extracted human third molars were polished to obtain 50 enamel and 50 dentin specimens. The specimens were cemented to 1-mm-thick lithium disilicate ceramic plates with different cement film thicknesses (100 and 300 μm) ...

PURPOSE The aim of this Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopic study was to measure the degree of conversion (DC) of dual-cured resin cements light-irradiated through zirconia ceramic disks with different thicknesses using various light-curing methods. MATERIALS AND METHODS Zirconia ceramic disks (KT12) with three different thicknesses (1.0, 2.0, and 4.0 mm) were prepared. The light ...
